Criminal Defense Frequently Asked Questions Q= Do I have to personally appear at my criminal court hearing?

Q= Do I have to personally appear at my criminal court hearing?

Q= Do I have to personally appear at my criminal court hearing?

A= Not necessarily. Depending on your case, if you retain my services, I can appear in criminal court on your behalf. Many times over the years, I have handled a client’s criminal case from start to finish without my client ever personally appearing in criminal court. This has been especially true for the many clients that I have represented from out of state, e.g., clients who were in Minnesota for business or to visit and ended up being charged with a crime.
